Jet Dog – Dog walking and training service :
Jet Dog is an owner operated dog walking and training service in and around Oakland, California. We believe in the strength and importance of the dog-human relationship and know every interaction tells your dog something – so why not make it good. Whether you need help getting your dog to do something differently or you need help caring for her with a good outdoor romp, Jet Dog can help.
How It All Started:
The seed of Jet Dog began with a dream to:
1. Build self-esteem, empathy and leadership in youth.
2. Find shelter dogs loving homes so fewer are euthanized.
3. Enhance the health and well-being of elders.
The non-profit project will reach it’s mission by developing and teaching a training series for youth to train shelter dogs, which will in turn help them become (more) adoptable. During the series the youth will bring their shelter ‘project’ dog to visit elders to brighten their emotional well-being. At the end of the series the youth will place their shelter ‘project’ dog in a loving new home.
5% of all profits will go to this non-profit project so thank you!
Jet Dog – At your service:
In Audree’s (current) lifetime she has been a personal/business coach, instructor/trainer, and HR Manager before thoughtfully and intentionally choosing life as a dog ‘love and lesson’ provider. Audree’s life experience has primed her, and even led her to be the human you can wholeheartedly trust to care for your dog as a walker and trainer. She not only runs Jet Dog, the business, she’s also out on the trails daily with her packs frolicking and playing.
People say Audree lights up when she sees a dog. She’s always felt a special kinship with our furry friends from her first childhood dog, MacGregor, to her current fur face, Jet (yes, Jet Dog is named after this sweet girl). Dogs will always be part of Audree’s life because she is a better human when they are, and is sure they’re happier dogs when she’s in theirs.
Audree’s friend says,
“Audree has a wonderful nurturing and loving side that shows up sweetly in her connection with pets.”
Patrick is an East Coast transplant with a perfect amount of California in him. He was a dog walker in SF for many years so he knows dogs and pack behavior, and is an overall great guy! The pups love the way he talks to them, and the fur and people family are thrilled to have such a great person on the Jet Dog team.
Hargo is thrilled to be a part of the Jet Dog Team! He has enjoyed spending the better part of the last decade in the pet industry so he comes to us with tons of doggie knowledge, and is always ready for a fun fur filled day on the trail with the pack. When he heads home after the pack adventures, it’s to the company of his best friend Junior.
Pablo is an energetic, dog-loving Argentine-Italian and grew up in the Italian Alps. He comes to Jet Dog from a variety of dog experience – first as a dog walker in San Francisco, as well as from a boarding center specialized in training working dogs in the Gold Country. His goal is to give your pup the best care and experience possible, and it shows from the moment he walks in the door for pick up to the moment they get home after a great adventure!
Mariah came to us from the trails of Redwood Regional, and we soon learned that she spends time on the trails specifically to see dog packs. Since that amazing chance encounter, Mariah has been a valuable member of the Jet Dog team, providing much needed neighborhood walks to pups who aren’t made for packs, and pet sitting. You can tell the moment you meet her that your pup is in amazing hands with Mariah!
When Liz isn’t taking care of her own big fur baby, or teaching yoga at Funky Door in Berkeley, she’s taking Jet Dog pups on leashed neighborhood romps or subbing as a pack leader. She comes to us after having spent many volunteer hours at shelters taking care of a variety of dogs with different behavioral issues. We’re excited to have Liz on the Jet Dog team!
Robert comes to Jet Dog after working in a day care facility for pups, and with autistic adults doing in home care. When he’s not doing leashed neighborhood walks for Jet Dog you can find him caring for his own sweet dog, teaching surfing or riding the waves of Pacifica.
